I'M BACK!!!! The Return Blog!!!!

WE”RE BACK!!!! Big Oof”s Sports Blog has returned after a hiatus…

Let’s get right to it after the Bump seen around the globe how will the Bears respond?

They will be just fine let’s be real here it’s only Week 3 got the Rams at home which should get the offense on track and be a nice change of pace for the defense. The special teams need to step up this week big returns better field position and get points.

Matt “Rappin” Forte is out so Michael Bush let’s see what you got you said you wanted to be more than the short yardage back well son your up.

J’Marcus Webb you need to go see the Wizard as a former coach of mine would say. You didn’t block and you got yelled at that’s suppose to happen now for the bump you need to handle that with Cutler cut the smile and get mean this is FOOTBALL!!!!

Jay Cutler just play ball stop focusing on Marshall and spread the ball around take what the defense gives you. Jay your not going to be Montana-Rice by Week 3so relax.

Bears have three winnable games Rams, Jags, and Cowboys get the job done….

GO GO White Sox- Yes I am writing about them and they need to hold on Tigers, could put something together. Keep It Simply Simple (KISS) hit the ball, catch the ball, and score however you can.

Cubbies- Wait till year after next you guys will see. In Theo We Trust!! I think

Bulls- Well I said you could still win your division and since I said it I am sticking to it but I know the team is

Blackhawks- Keep in shape fellas and this lockout could be a real big blow to hockey not good.

Check back next week with more about Chicago Sports, Sports News, and my rants …..

Penn State Editorial

The NCAA rendered their decision against Penn State University today which included: 60 million dollar fine, four year bowl ban, a reduction in scholarships, and the right for the NCAA to come back in and investigate the program. I totally disagree with the penalty handed down if USC, SMU, Ohio State, and countles other schools receive pretty much the same bans but not the money forfeiture how is this stopping sports from overshadowing the integrity of a major University. There was a cover up of child abuse involving innocent children who were looking for a father figure to help them with their lives and this is equal to boosters paying kids to play for a school or athletes who sold their own property for money oh and the kids who were given plane tickets or meals by people outside the program. I think the message is clear slap on the wrist but football powerhouse you keep making money and just make sure you don't allow pedophiles on your staff anymore or else. Children no matter what background they come from should be protected by Adults especially those in education who know what can happen when a child is abused by someone they trust and how this will affect their self esteem going forward. NCAA you get an F for this one but what else is knew you dropped the ball in the end zone on the regular I really hope you never forget you had the chance to send a clear message and you didn't..... This is just my opinion who the hell am I well a concerned adult and advocate for every child having the best childhood they can despite the environment they grow up in.

I'M BACK Chicago Sports Roundup 2-13-12

Hey what’s going on? It’s been awhile since my last Blog I took some time to reflect and well as MJ told the NBA in 95 I’M BACK!!!…

Well let’s start off with a roundup of Chicago Sports:

Bulls- 23-6 Yes that’s what’s up now get Derrick Rose some rest so we can get ring number 7. The bench will gain confidence while Rose is out and with Deng back let’s keep it going. Rip get healthy come back and get your legs for the playoff run. Boozer we are stuck with the contract he does score and his defense oh well its somewhat better.

BlackHawks- Eight straight losses come on let's get it together quickly your in the toughest division in NHL there is no play time. Crawford you have to get better and if not then you gotta go. Emery if your number is called then do what the other guy couldn't do. Scoring has been an issue also line changes and inconsistency is running wild right now. Coach Q is a great coach can make adjustments better than no other but right now he needs to get go off and get everyone fired up...LETS GO HAWKS!!!!

Cubs- In Theo We Trust can he put together a roster that will consistently compete for a World Series Championship?? He is off to a good start getting rid of Zambrano and looking to build through the draft and farm system. Soriano is still on the roster but it would be a miracle to unload him. Pitching good question Garza is the real deal but will they find another ace on the staff. Theo lots of questions do you have the answers???

White Sox- Well no more Ozzie he was a quote machine and a pretty good manager he brought a title in ’05. Kenny went left on the managerial choice with Robin Ventura who has never managed or been in any big league coaching position. Will Adam Dunn show up? Is Alex Rios done? The workhorse of the staff Burhele is gone to Miami so who takes that spot Gavin Floyd?? Jake Peavey says he is healthy we will see. White Sox have more questions to answer than the Cubs wow.

Bears- So many What If’s this year but that only works in your dreams. Da Bears need a WR and hey Vincent Jackson is a free agent at least make an offer. Cutler was solid this past year he deserves a legit WR so he can show if he is ready to make another leap. Sign Forte he will be solid for 3 more years especially if you have WR making plays. Left Tackle is a high priority on the to do list. Emery your on the clock so draft early rounds like your job depends on it. Defense well safety is a need and some help for Julius Peppers and some backup linebackers. Lovie you got more chances than the law allows make this one count Super Bowl Winner you’ve been to the dance before this time be the last one to leave the party.
